GP’s
Minor Surgery
Some of our GP's have specialist areas of expertise and can perform minor surgery procedures on site, without the need to be referred to the hospital.
These include:
- Removal of lumps and bumps
- Joint Injections
- Family Planning procedures such as implant and coil removal and/or insertion
Practice Nurses
We currently have two part-time Practice Nurses who are available by appointment for advice and treatment. We hold clinics for
- Asthma Reviews
- Diabetic Reviews
- Travel Vaccines (those only covered by the NHS)
- Child Immunisation Clinics
- Medication Reviews
- Flu Vaccinations
- COPD Clinics
- Hypertension
- Chronic Heart Disease
- Smears*
- Dressings
- Contraception Services
*We are unable to store smear samples over the weekend therefore we are unable to offer this procedure on a Friday afternoon.
Our Practice Nurses are available daily between 12:00pm and 12:30pm to take phone calls to discuss blood test results.
Health Care Support/Phlebotomist
Our Health Care Support/Phlebotomist is available four mornings a week for blood tests. All blood tests have to be taken in the by 11.00am for collection by the courier.
There are other locations available should this better suit you. Please view the Blood Test Clinics. If you are attending one of the clinics you will need to take your blood test form with you. If you do not have your form you will not be seen.
